always accepts demos and WE LISTEN TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. It takes
us while to get through them all, so we ask for your patience. If you're
interested in sending us your demo, here's a few tips:
DEMO TIPS
1. CD'S ONLY! Please only send us one, and DO NOT send cassettes, records or MP3s.
2. FINISH BEFORE YOU START! Please only send completed songs. DO NOT send incomplete work. If you have no singer – don’t send us just the music tracks with the lyrics. Finish your sound before you start sending out material. Remember, you may only have one chance, don’t waste it!

DEMO PACKAGE - Do Your Homework! We don't expect a super professional
demo 'cause if you had one you wouldn't be contacting us. Please show
some effort, a plain ol' disc in an envelope is going to show us you
don't care much about your band, so why should we care about your band?
I'll be honest, we grab at the pretty packages first - You know you
would too!
• BIO - keep it brief, no essay! Just a little
info about your band and the members. Include your website and if you
don't have one, a myspace page - even my cat has a myspace page and
your band should too!
• PICTURE - Send an image of your band, we'd
like to see what you guys look likel
• VIDEOS - if ya have 'em, send 'em. We gotta
see how you perform live and if you uphold your picture images. If you're
all monstered and zombied out in your pics and you play live looking
like you just got out of work - thats a rip off and you'll be suspended.
• TRACK LISTINGS - For christ's sake, ya gotta
include this. We're not mind-readers here, if there's no listing the
demo gets tossed. Also, if you're gonna put the track listing on the
disc itself please include an extra in the case.
• CONTACT INFO - Very simple, I know. We need
your band’s name, a contact name, a contact email address
and a contact phone number. You'd think that
this is something you wouldn't forget but many have. Ya get caught up
in organizing everything that the simplest thing slips by you. Some
good demos sadly ended up in the demo graveyard because this was missing.
Sorry, but we're pretty busy and we're not gonna track you down on the
internet or snail mail you to get in touch with you..
4. HOME OF THE MONSTERS - Yeah thats us, and Horror Punk is our heart but we aren't limited to Horror Punk only, but I'm pretty sure you get the Monster feel that we're about.

WAIT! Because we take the time to listen to every demo
(and we do believe it or not) – it does take us up to a few weeks
to listen to your demo. Remember – if we like what we hear we
will get back to you… hell if we don’t like it, we will
try to get back to you. You do not need to send us follow-up emails
or phone calls. We will get in touch with you.
WHAT
WE LOOK FOR:
1. A Band that writes good songs - D’OH! Yes,
good songs are the important factor we are looking for. If you have
a new band and only have 2 songs… the chances are, the more you
write the better you will get. Work on your craft, and send us your
finest COMPLETED work.
2. A Band that Tours - Labels are looking for bands that have a following.. even if it’s a small following! Bands that tour, even locally, are working on perfecting their songs and show. Record labels are looking for bands who take their craft seriously – by touring you are showing a label that you are serious about your band. If you haven't played one show and hope your demo gets you a deal, you're gonna have to rethink that thought.

A Band that sells merch - Promote yourself. Once again,
a band that acts professional will always catch the attention of a label
first. Make sure you have merch (shirts, stickers, cd’s) for sale.
Does your band have a mailing list? A Website? Are you promoting your
band?
4. A Star – Sorry, especially in HorrorRock,
image counts. Not everyone in the band has to be a star, but we are
looking for the band that has the sound, image and live show! If you
take yourself seriously – so will everyone else

Lastly, We welcome all submissions, but please think and cover all your bases before you send your demo in. If you contact us about anything that has been covered on this page chances are you will be redirected back to this page if we respond to you at all - please read it carefully and 100 times if you need to.
